IDA, Institute of Dance Artistry, has studios in Fort Washington and Plymouth Meeting, PA. We are a school of modern dance, ballet, pointe, jazz dance, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop dance. IDA provides the ideal dance education for our students because we adhere to the philosophy that dance is an art form, not a competitive sport. Students with professional aspirations can make a smooth transition into the college and professional dance worlds, who also see dance as an art form.

Students who dance for a fun hobby can do so in a positive, supportive, non-competitive environment. IDA gives back to the community through dance. This is accomplished year-round with fundraisers and performances that raise money for charities.

IDA students are given the tools to develop strong dance technique, artistic ability, self-confidence, and passion for the art of dance. The individual and unique talents and abilities of all are embraced and encouraged. IDA has dance students of all ages from Philadelphia, Fort Washington, Dresher, Horsham, Spring House, Blue Bell, Upper Dublin, Ambler, Willow Grove, Plymouth Meeting, Lafayette Hill, Whitemarsh Township, Conshohocken, North Wales, Montgomeryville and other Bucks and Montgomery County, PA locations.

All IDA dance classes are taught by enthusiastic professionals with Bachelors and Masters of Fine Arts degrees in dance. All IDA teachers are current professional performers and choreographers on the Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York dance scenes.
